Mauritania Travel Itinerary November 2019
Day 1
Arrive Nouakchott via Turkish Airways from Istanbul
Arrange provisions for train journey
Sleep in Nouakchott Hotel
Day 2
Drive via hired vehicle to Choum in northern desert visiting villages along the way
Wait for iron ore train to arrive in Choum
Travel overnight on top of the iron ore pellets on the train (12 hours over night)
Day 3
Arrive morning Nouadhibou
Hotel and transfer to Western Sahara border
